Alpine Chalets Hakuba operates a self-check-in system. We will send you the self-check-in information after receiving your passport and other necessary details. You will receive an email to submit this information approximately 2 weeks before check-in.

You can check in from 15:00.

You will receive a message regarding with the self-check-in about 2 weeks before check-in.  Please keep an eye on your email or messages on the booking website you used. All Alpine Hakuba properties have free on-site parking (1 vehicle per unit). Please park as directed as to not interfere with snow clearing.

For all non-residents of Japan, we are required by law to obtain a copy of your passport. Please upload the photo page of your passport to the check-in system in advance. You can access the check-in system from the email we will send you approximately 2 weeks before your check-in date.

We will also need a credit card on file to guarantee the stay in case of any damage to the unit.

Supermarket “A-Coop”: Approximately 2 km from Alpine Chalet Hakuba and Villa Hakuba. 4 km from Alpine Condos.

Supermarket “The Big”: Approximately 1 km from Alpine Chalet Hakuba and Villa Hakuba. 5 km from Alpine Condos.

All Alpine Hakuba properties have free, unlimited high speed Wifi.

We are sorry but all Alpine Hakuba Properties are 100% Non Smoking. Guests wishing to smoke must do so outside.

From Tokyo: Limited Express AZUSA#5 from Shinjuku to Hakuba takes 3 huors and 43 minutes.
From Nagoya: You can take a Limited Express Shinano to Matsumoto. There are local trains from Matsumoto to Hakuba.

As each guest has different preferences, we do not stock extra amenities.

On arrival your unit will have a small supply of toilet paper and dish-washing liquid as well as shampoo, conditioner, body soap (liquid).

You can purchase lift pass online at website of each ski resort.

We can put you in touch with any of the major ski schools in Hakuba Valley. We’ll get you to arrange the details with the operator from there as they often have specific questions about ability, age etc and it is easier to talk directly to them.
